MusicMoves Boston is a special musical collaboration between a distinguished group of Boston’s finest string players and concert pianist Virginia Eskin. MusicMoves Boston creates a personalized concert experience for our listeners. MMB concerts are informative, innovative and dynamic. MMB leads its audiences on a pathway to discovery through thematic programming which integrates verbal discussion about the music at hand. Our goal is to make classical music more accessible and interesting to people of all ages.Alongside the standards, MMB explores the diverse and perhaps overlooked repertoire written for unique instrumentations, such as string duos, string trios and piano quartets. MusicMoves Boston's varied ensembles are comprised of highly acclaimed chamber musicians including members of the Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO), and performers of Boston's other most prestigious orchestras including the Boston Pops, Boston Ballet, and Lyric Opera Company.Our musicians have performed chamber music at greater Boston’s
most important venues such as Symphony Hall, Sanders Theater, Faneuil
Hall, and Isabella Stuart Gardener Museum to name just a few. |
